The U14 Girls travelled on December 14 to Parry Sound to take on the U13 Parry Sound Stingers for two games.
Due to sickness the Hurricanes played the first game with only 6 players. Huntsville started the game with great enthusiasm turning over the Stingers often to take a 12 - 2 lead. Jordyn Earl lead the team with 11 points including 3 three point shots all in the first half. Lily Dixon (8 points) and Kaley Verheye (6) were the other top scorers. Amazia Steeves, Sophia Jakubiec and Brynn Tofflemire all played hard to pull out a 32 - 21 win.
After a break the teams met for a rematch. The Hurricanes picked up a two additional players for the second game. Unfortunately the game sheet was unavailable after the game but the final score was 25 - 21 for Huntsville.
The Hurricanes do not play another game until the weekend of January 25/26.
